Homogenization principle The function of homogenization is to uniformly disperse different components in the same system, break up or refine the insoluble phase particles in the liquid, and form a stable and uniform solution. The material enters the homogenizing valve under the push of the plunger, where it is pressurized and discharged.
During this process, the material is subjected to various effects: cavitation, high-frequency vibration of strong turbulence, shearing with the edge of the homogenization valve, and impact with the backing ring of the homogenization valve. Primary homogenization is mainly used for solid particle dispersion or cell disruption, while secondary homogenization is mainly used for emulsion processing or viscosity control. Controlling the homogenization valve and servo system through a pneumatic adjustment unit ensures precise control of the homogenization effect.
